True Bible

"Seek ye out the book of the LORD, and read." —Isaiah 34:16

Step #2 - Discern The Differences

If we as God's children can recognize and believe that God must have preserved His words, then the next step is to recognize that not every book out there with the front cover title "Holy Bible" is saying the same thing. Just a few examples should suffice. Remember, God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), only man can be responsible for contradicting versions. I submit to you that the King James Bible is the only version without the following obvious contradictions. I will use the NASB as the generic example of modern version's errors, but you may wish to look up these passages in any given translation, and they will most likely have at least one of these contradictions, which is enough to recognize man's corruption in the text. If your version does not have any of these, please contact and let me know!

Hebrews 3:16 (Did Joshua and Caleb rebel and consequently perish?)

"For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?" (How was there even an Israel if they all sinned and died, Hebrew 3:17?)

Hosea 11:12 (This was during the reign of Hezekiah, godly King of Judah)

"Ephraim surrounds Me with lies and the house of Israel with deceit; Judah is also unruly against God, even against the Holy One who is faithful." (Consider Hosea 1:7)

John 7:8 (Did Jesus lie?)

"Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has not yet fully come." (John 7:10 tells us He did go to the feast; the word "yet" is missing between up and to)

2 Samuel 21:19 (Who killed Goliath, David or Elhanan? Consider 1 Samuel 17:51)

"There was war with the Philistines again at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam."

Proverbs 16:6 (Can we atone for our sins by being loving and truthful?)

"By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one keeps away from evil." (Consider Romans 5:11)

Psalm 78:36 (Can God be deceived? Consider Psalm 44:21 and 1 Chronicles 28:9)

"But they deceived Him with their mouth and lied to Him with their tongue."
